About 5 h 54 min of reading78 chapters

The Key to Theosophy, published in 1889, is H. P. Blavatsky's introduction to the teachings of the Theosophical Society, which she had founded in New York in 1875. It takes the form of a dialogue between an Enquirer and a Theosophist. The questions range from what Theosophy is and is not, and how it differs from Buddhism and spiritualism, through the objects and pledges of the Society, to its doctrines of God and prayer, the sevenfold nature of human beings, karma, reincarnation and the states after death. Blavatsky answers with confidence and occasional sharpness toward critics. This edition reprints the original text. The full text is available to read online in your browser on Vinteuil, and the first chapter is free.
