William Edward Riley was an English architect who served as architect to the London County Council in the early twentieth century. In that post he oversaw the council's building works, and he contributed the drawings and architectural descriptions to several early volumes of the Survey of London, the long-running record of the capital's historic buildings, including those on the parish of St. Giles-in-the-Fields.
