William Henry Withrow (1839–1908) was a Canadian Methodist minister, editor and historian. Born in Toronto and educated at Victoria College and the University of Toronto, he was ordained in 1866 and from 1874 until his death edited the Canadian Methodist Magazine and the Sunday school publications of his church. His first book, The Catacombs of Rome, and Their Testimony Relative to Primitive Christianity, published in 1874, used the inscriptions and paintings of the Roman catacombs to argue for the simplicity of early Christian belief. He also wrote a popular History of Canada, religious biographies and several novels, and was a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.
