Théophile Pascal

Théophile Pascal was a French physician and one of the early leaders of the Theosophical movement in France around 1900, serving as general secretary of its French section. He wrote and lectured on Theosophy, presenting its doctrines of the subtle bodies, karma and reincarnation as a reasoned answer to the problems of suffering and inequality. His books include Reincarnation: A Study in Human Evolution, translated into English by Fred Rothwell, and The Laws of Destiny. His writings reflect the period's attempts to reconcile spiritual teachings with science and evolution.
