Pierre Alexandre Édouard Fleury de Chaboulon

Pierre Alexandre Édouard Fleury de Chaboulon (1779–1835) was a French administrator and memoirist. A sub-prefect under the Empire, he traveled in early 1815 to Elba with news for Napoleon from his supporters in France. During the Hundred Days he served as one of the Emperor's private secretaries. After Waterloo he went into exile, and his Memoirs of the Private Life, Return, and Reign of Napoleon in 1815 were published in London in 1820. Napoleon read them on Saint Helena and annotated his copy.
