Ella Eaton Kellogg (1853–1920) was an American writer on diet and domestic science. Born in Alfred, New York, and educated at Alfred University, she went to Battle Creek, Michigan, in 1876, stayed to work at the sanitarium there, and in 1879 married its director, John Harvey Kellogg. She ran the sanitarium's experimental kitchen and school of cookery, edited the household department of Good Health, and wrote Science in the Kitchen (1892), a treatise on nutrition and vegetarian cooking that went through many editions. The Kelloggs had no children of their own but raised more than forty foster children.
