C. G. Addison

Charles Greenstreet Addison was an English barrister of the Inner Temple and a writer on law and history. His History of the Knights Templars, the Temple Church, and the Temple, published in 1842 at the time of the restoration of the Temple Church in London, told the story of the military order and of the precinct his own profession had inherited from it. He was better known in his own century for his legal treatises on contracts and on wrongs and their remedies, which went through many editions as standard works on English law.
