Annie Gregg Savigny was a Canadian novelist active in Toronto in the 1880s and 1890s. Her first book, A Heart-Song of To-day (1886), is a society romance set among the English and Parisian upper classes, in which gossip and slander, the "unruly member" of its subtitle, do more harm than any villain. She followed it with A Romance of Toronto (1888), one of the earliest novels to use the city as its setting, and Lion, the Mastiff (1895), a dog's life story written to promote kindness to animals. Little is recorded of her life beyond her books.
