Agnes Mary Frances Robinson (1857–1944) was an English poet, biographer and critic who spent most of her adult life in France. She published her first collection, A Handful of Honeysuckle, at twenty-one and moved in the circle of Vernon Lee, John Addington Symonds and Walter Pater. Her Emily Brontë (1883), written for the Eminent Women series, was the first full biography of the novelist. In 1888 she married the orientalist James Darmesteter and after his death the bacteriologist Émile Duclaux, publishing thereafter as Madame Duclaux; her later books, in French and English, include a life of Renan and studies of French literature.
