William John Cameron (1878–1955) was a Canadian-born American journalist and spokesman for Henry Ford. After working for newspapers in Michigan, he joined Ford's weekly The Dearborn Independent and became its editor, under whose direction the paper published the antisemitic series later collected as The International Jew. When Ford retracted the series and apologized in 1927, the paper closed. Cameron remained with the Ford Motor Company for many years as a public relations officer and became known nationally for the talks he gave on the company's Sunday evening radio program in the 1930s and 1940s.
