He is best known for The Story-Life of Lincoln, a biography of Abraham Lincoln assembled from anecdotes and recollections, and similar story-lives of George Washington and other figures. He also wrote juvenile fiction, including the Radio Boys series with S. F. Aaron, which followed the excitement around broadcasting in the early 1920s.
