Sofronio G. Calderón (1878–1954) was a Filipino writer, lexicographer and Tagalog scholar. Active in the literary societies that worked to cultivate Tagalog in the early years of American rule, he presided over the Aklatang Kasilawan and held office in the association of Tagalog writers, and he contributed to the movement for a national language. His Diccionario Inglés-Español-Tagalog, published in Manila in 1915, was among the first dictionaries to set the three languages side by side with pronunciations for Filipino learners of English, and it was reprinted several times.
