Mary Ronald

Mary Ronald was an American writer on cookery and household management at the end of the nineteenth century. Her Century Cook Book, published by the Century Company in 1895, combined recipes ranging from simple family dishes to elaborate ornamental pieces with guidance on the etiquette of dinners and the decoration of the table, and was illustrated with photographs. It was widely used and reprinted, and she followed it with a book devoted to luncheons.
