Francis A. March Jr.

Francis Andrew March Jr. (1863–1928) was an American scholar and editor, son of the philologist Francis A. March. He taught English at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania and worked with his father on A Thesaurus Dictionary of the English Language. At the close of the First World War he compiled, with the journalist Richard J. Beamish, a popular History of the World War, published in 1918 and widely sold to American readers eager for an account of the conflict.
