Henry K. Rowe

Henry K. Rowe was an American teacher and writer on history, religion and society in the early twentieth century, associated with the Newton Theological Institution near Boston. Interested in applying the new social sciences to the training of ministers and teachers, he wrote Society: Its Origin and Development, an introductory textbook that follows social life from the family through the rural community and the city to the nation as well as a history of religion in the United States.
