Fanny Heaslip Lea

Fanny Heaslip Lea was an American novelist and short-story writer, born in New Orleans. She began publishing stories in magazines such as The Saturday Evening Post and Good Housekeeping in the 1910s and became a prolific author of light romantic fiction, often witty in its dialogue and concerned with young women deciding how to live. Her novels include With This Ring and The Dream-Maker Man (1925). She lived for some years in Honolulu, and some of her fiction draws on life in the islands.
