Elliott Whitney

Elliott Whitney is the name that appeared on the Big Game Series of adventure stories for boys published by Reilly and Britton of Chicago in the 1910s, including The Giant Moose, The White Tiger of Nepal, The King Bear of Kadiak Island, The Blind Lion of the Congo and The Rogue Elephant. It is generally identified as a pen name of the prolific Canadian-born adventure writer H. Bedford-Jones. The books combine hunting expeditions in remote country with lore about wild animals and peoples.
