Amy Le Feuvre (c. 1861–1929) was an English writer of evangelical fiction for children and adults, one of the most popular authors published by the Religious Tract Society. Born in London to a family of Jersey descent, she began publishing in the 1890s and wrote more than seventy books, among them Probable Sons, Teddy's Button, Odd, Dwell Deep, Heather's Mistress, The Mender and Tomina in Retreat. Her stories typically follow a child or a young woman whose simple faith works on the adults around her, and A Happy Woman, the tale of a sister who keeps house for her brother in London, is characteristic of her later novels.
