Albert M. Treynor was an American writer of adventure fiction active in the 1920s and early 1930s, who published stories in pulp magazines such as Adventure, Short Stories and Blue Book, often set in the Canadian north and featuring the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Snow-Blind, published in 1929, is his best-known novel, a tale of murder, radio and the Barren Lands that went through several printings. He belongs to the school of northern adventure writing that followed James Oliver Curwood, with the Mountie as hero and the Arctic winter as antagonist. Little biographical information about him has survived beyond the magazines in which he appeared.
