A. T. Robertson

A. T. Robertson (1863–1934) was an American Baptist scholar of the New Testament and its Greek. Born in Virginia and raised in North Carolina, he studied at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, where he taught for nearly half a century and married the daughter of his teacher John A. Broadus. His Grammar of the Greek New Testament in the Light of Historical Research, more than a thousand pages long, became a standard reference, and his Word Pictures in the New Testament is still widely used. He also revised Broadus's Harmony of the Gospels for students.
